The proposal aims to pre-design and optimise a smart climate street in Parramatta, Phillip Street, exhibiting high climatic, environmental and energy performance.
The project will study and optimise the combination of advanced thermal mitigation and smart technologies to improve thermal comfort and mitigate the urban overheating in the area. The project is partly financed by the Parramatta Council while the potential contribution of the CRCLCL will allow to improve the whole design and better document the mitigation and cooling performance of the strategies proposed to be implemented.
